Building Inspections Perth
Inspections are carried out by a qualified carpenter and registered builder (builder reg. 14316) with over 25 years experience in the Western Australian building Industry. A visual assessment of the building will be undertaken with the condition of the buildings structure being noted, photographed and listed in the final report. These observations regarding the properties condition are formed by inspecting the following areas where applicable as specified in the Australian Standard 4349.1 – 2007 appendix A.
- Roof space
- Roof exterior
- Exterior of the building
- Interior of the building
- Sub floor space
- Surrounding property
Timber Pest (white ant) Inspection
A timber pest inspection can also be carried out whilst the building inspector is on site. The property will be inspected in accordance to Australian Standard 4349.3-1998. Where applicable a visual inspection of the roof walls and floor structure for current, past and possible future pest infestations will be undertaken. The surrounding property including fences, tree stumps and out buildings will be inspected.
Any past and present termite activity to be found will be reported with recommendations given to reduce the chances of possible future infestations.
